We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager – Skilled Trades to lead recruiting efforts for critical frontline roles—including electricians, mechanics, welders, HVAC technicians, and more. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll shape hiring strategy, mentor a recruiting team, and ensure SEPTA attracts top-tier trade talent.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists focused on skilled trades hiring
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to meet high-volume and specialized hiring needs
- Partner with hiring managers and department leaders to forecast workforce needs and improve hiring outcomes
- Build pipelines for hard-to-fill roles in skilled trades and construction-related fields
- Ensure compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) standards and hiring best practices
- Analyze recruiting metrics to improve efficiency, time-to-fill, and candidate quality
- Enhance employer branding to attract top trade talent in a competitive market
What You Bring
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of progressive recruiting experience
OR - 8+ years of progressive recruiting experience (in lieu of degree)
- Proven experience developing and implementing recruiting strategies
- Strong knowledge of EEO compliance and hiring regulations
- Hands-on experience recruiting skilled trades talent (e.g., electricians, plumbers, carpenters, welders, HVAC technicians)
- At least 2 years directly sourcing and recruiting for skilled trades roles

Compensation: $93,080.00 - $116,350.00 per year
