About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced HVAC Field Service Manager with proven HVAC management and field leadership experience to lead and develop a team of residential service technicians. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows HVAC operations, understands technician-driven sales, and can coach teams to perform at a high level.
You’ll be responsible for field coaching, operational efficiency, sales performance, and technician accountability. Your leadership will directly impact revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and team success.

What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop HVAC service technicians through ride-alongs and field training
- Provide real-time coaching on diagnostics, customer communication, and in-home sales
- Train technicians on upselling, objection handling, and closing best-practice recommendations
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics including close rate, average ticket, revenue, and callbacks
- Enforce SOPs, safety standards, quality control, and on-time performance
- Manage daily operations including scheduling, job readiness, and equipment availability
- Oversee commercial HVAC and insulation opportunities, including job research, planning, and execution
- Conduct weekly team meetings and report KPIs and performance trends to leadership
- Build a strong team culture through accountability, coaching, and performance improvement plans
- Ensure company fleet vehicles are properly maintained and safe for daily operations
What You Bring

3+ years of HVAC management or HVAC field leadership experience (required)
- Strong background in residential HVAC service operations
- Proven ability to coach technicians on sales performance and customer experience
- Solid understanding of HVAC systems, field workflows, and OSHA safety practices
- Experience using CRM and dispatch systems (Workiz preferred)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, access attics, and work in varying conditions
- Open availability, including occasional evenings or weekends

Compensation: $40,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
