Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain industrial piping systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure and cut piping to required lengths using tools and machinery
- Install valves, gauges, and other fittings
- Test piping systems for leaks and defects
- Troubleshoot and repair piping systems when necessary
- Delegate tasks and assist in training team members
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Support activities at job sites as directed
- Adhere to safety procedures and regulations related to piping systems
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of pipefitting experience
- Strong understanding of industrial piping systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
- Leadership qualities, including decisiveness, dependability, initiative, resourcefulness, and flexibility
Additional Info: While this position is based in Indiana, there may be opportunities to travel out of state.
